# Preparation for update

  1. Make sure that the status of DICOMApp is "Stopped".
    If the status of DICOMApp is "Running", click "Stop" to stop PACS.

Make sure that SonicDICOM PACS is Stopped

  1. Click "x" to exit PACS Manager.

When updating, all information such as studies, accounts, licenses will be automatically migrated.
However, license information will be migrated only if the major version of the product is the same.
